A Quick IR Link

May 27, 2009

Part of the Foreign Service lifestyle is frequently moving.  I’m getting to crunch time, that point when I couldn’t care less about my current job and in which moving details begins to take up much of my attention and time.  Anyway, as I search for an apartment in DC, trust that I haven’t forgotten about you, dear reader.

I found a great link, IR Theory Website, an old-school website devoted to International Relations paradigms approaches and theories.  The most useful part of the site is the Knowledge Base, basically a glossary that could almost serve as an undergraduate IR class.  Anyway, this will appeal more to IR nerds and less to policy wonks, so I promise the next quick link will be for you!

Good luck with your move! Thanks for being a great resource for info (and I like the recent addition of the “What do you think?” column).

As a future CON officer (pending med/security clearances), I appreciate your post about visa adjudication & the link to Calling a Spade a Spade - insightful commentary on the depth and importance of the Consular track in just a few postings.
